Mofaz: Leaders make unpopular decisions

Kadima chairman and newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz addressed the criticism directed at him over his decision to join the Coalition.

"There are times when the leadership makes decisions – even if (these decisions) are seemingly unpopular," he wrote on his Facebook page. "I am not oblivious to the criticism posted on this page and in the media over the past few days A historic opportunity had been created to lead important processes for the benefit of the Israeli public. In my opinion, it would be irresponsible to miss such an opportunity." (Ynet)
