Peres feeling well following surgery

Professor Rafi Walden, President Shimon Peres' personal doctor, said that the leader's hernia repair surgery was completed successfully, and that the patient is feeling well.

Peres is to remain at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer until Sunday. He has spoken to his family and aides and asked to convey his gratitude to all his well-wishers. (Yair Altman)
