Leading Egypt candidate calls 'racist' Israel a threat

A leading Islamist candidate in Egypt's presidential election, Abdel Moneim Abul Fotouh, branded Israel a "racist state" and called the shared peace treaty "a national security threat" that should be revised.
Fotouh also denounced Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden's assassination by US special forces as an act of "state terrorism," in an Egyptian television interview. (AFP)
