None

Israeli intelligence officials took part in indirect talks with Hamas in Cairo last week, as part of the commitment the Jewish state made in the Shalit deal, the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper reported. According to the report, the Hamas delegation was headed by the organization's military chief in the Gaza Strip, Ahmed Jabari. The negotiations were mediated by Egyptian officials.

Palestinian sources expressed concern that Israel has backed out of some of the assurances it made to Egypt as part of the prisoner swap deal. (Elior Levy)
