Lapid calls for transparent debate on Tal Law alternatives

Yair Lapid, chairman of the Yesh Atid Party, urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday to hold transparent debate on alternatives to the Tal Law.
Speaking at a conference at the Ariel University Center of Samaria, Lapid said that he would be the first to offer his congratulations if the unity government passed a universal draft law requiring every citizen to perform military or national service at age 18. (Itamar Fleishman, Attila Somfalvi)
