Outgoing Samaria commander: Itamar murders were my fault

Outgoing Samaria Brigade Commander Colonel Nimrod Aloni said he sees the terrorist attack in Itamar as his personal failure.

"I failed in Itamar, and my failure led to the brutal murders of the Fogel family members. I have no words to describe the grief and frustration I felt afterwards," he said during the commander exchange ceremony. (Itamar Fleishman)
