Interior Minister Eli Yishai said Sunday that it is a mistake to give work permits to illegal immigrants. According to Yishai, the immigrants are settling down, and "Giving them work permits will be one of Israel's gravest mistakes."
Yishai responded to Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino and Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch, who said that the illegal immigrants in Israel should be allowed to work. (Omri Efraim)
