Ministerial Committee: Independence Day to take place on Thursdays

The Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs approved the bill by MK Lia Shemtov (Yisrael Beiteinu), calling to celebrate Yom Haatzmaut (Israeli Independence Day), every year on the Thursday of the week Israel declared its independence.
The proposal will be forwarded to a Knesset vote, supported by the coalition. (Attila Somfalvi)
