Abbas: Exchange of letters with Netanyahu reached dead end

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that an exchange of letters with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had reached a dead end and that he expects the US to restart negotiations based on Palestinian demands for two states on 1967 borders and halted settlement construction.
In an interview with Lebanon's An-Nahar newspaper Abbas said that if the US move fails the PA will again turn to the UN and seek non-member state recognition. (Elior Levy)
