Egyptian sources: Islamist in the lead in presidential election

The Muslim Brotherhood candidate to advance to a runoff vote Mohamed Morsi is ahead of the pack of 13 candidates, Egypt news al Ahram cited legal sources on Friday.
Moresi is in the lead with more than 2.7 million votes.
Former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq, a veteran of Mubarak’s rule, is following behind with 2.5 million votes. So far, only 56% of the vote has been counted. Final results are expected Tuesday. (Roi Kais)
