Foreign Worker accused of beating 84-year-old woman in her care

Indictment was filed with the Petah Tikva Magistrates' Court against Merilily Ferera (42), an Indian foreign worker, for allegedly beating a helpless 84-year-old woman who was under her care in a retirement home in the Sharon region.
Ferera was arrested after the woman's daughter was suspicious of her, and put a hidden camera in her mother's room that documented the acts. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
