IAEA: Iran says uranium enriched to 27% result of glitch

According to a report published by the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran said the traces of uranium enriched up to 27% found at the Fordo enrichment plant were the result of a technical glitch.

The UN nuclear agency said it was assessing that explanation and has asked for more details, but analysts and diplomats said Iran's version sounded plausible. (AP)
