Report in Syria: Qaeda behind Homs province massacres

The Syrian Arab News Agency said al-Qaeda-linked terrorist groups were responsible for Saturday's two horrible massacres against a number of families in the towns of al-Shumariyeh and Taldo in the countryside of Homs province.
According to the government mouthpiece, the terror groups have escalated their criminal activity in Syria ahead of a Security Council session on Syria and UN envoy to Syria Kofi Annan scheduled visit to the strife-torn country. (Roi Kais)
