Activists: More than 13,000 killed in Syria since start of uprising

Syrian human rights groups said more than 13,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed since the uprising against President Bashar Assad's regime began.
According to the data, at least 9,183 civilians, 3,072 soldiers and 794 army defectors have been killed since the violence erupted 14 months ago. (AFP)
