Supreme Court President praises outgoing justice Rivlin

Supreme Court President Judge Asher Grunis said Monday at a retirement ceremony for Judge Eliezer Rivlin that "we are parting not only from one of the most esteemed judges in the legal system, but also the most senior."
"I think there was no legal area that Rivlin did not address. In his years (as a judge), he was a distinct voice in Israeli law – sharp, clear, sometimes piercing but full of mercy," Grunis said. (Aviad Glickman)
