Defense Ministry plans to up draftees' pay

The Defense Ministry has completed work on a plan to increase the pay of soldiers performing their mandatory military service.
Combat soldiers serving their third year will have their pay increased to NIS 2,200 a month, while troops in support roles will receive NIS 1,600 a month. (Avital Lahav)
