Weinstein: El Al can't be forced to transport lab animals

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein has presented his stance on the matter of shipping lab animals abroad for medical testing.
In his opinion, which was presented within the framework of a lawsuit of seven Israeli research institutions against the El Al national airline, the attorney general noted that even though the experiments were important to research and public health, it was not possible or fitting to force the company to transport lab animals.
