State: No real threat to life in South Sudan

The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's office on Wednesday filed the State's response to a petition against the deportation of Sudanese citizens with the District Court. The State said that based on a comprehensive opinion from the Foreign Ministry, there was no obstacle to the deportation of Sudanese migrants. 

The State further added that there was no real life danger in South Sudan and stressed that those facing deportation could apply for political asylum in Israel. (Aviad Glickman)
