Representatives of the Defense Ministry and the Northern District Prosecutor's office have reached a compromise to pay the parents of Alaa Agabriya, who was killed in 2009 in failed helicopter rescue mission after he was wounded in a minefield, NIS 2 million in compensation.
Agabriya's parents originally sued the government for NIS 4.2 million. (Yoav Zitun)
