An Israeli of Ethiopian descent was attacked Wednesday evening at a protest in south Tel Aviv calling on the government to deport African migrants after some of the demonstrators mistook him for an infiltrator.
Some of the protestors swore at him, and one hit him on the back of his neck, but he was not injured. A counter-protest was coalescing at the scene, decrying "hatred and fury." (Gilad Morag and Boaz Fyler)
