An Eritrean man has been indicted in the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court for allegedly attacking his wife.
According to the indictment, the man beat her because she refused to enter their apartment. When questioned by the authorities, the man said he did not know that in Israel it was illegal for a man to beat his wife. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
