The State Prosecutor's Office announced that it has decided to close the case against Dr. Eyal Nir, a lecturer at Ben Gurion University who said on his Facebook page that the necks of right wing protestors should be broken.
Some two weeks later Nir wrote that he was opposed to violence and that what he wrote was wrong. The prosecutor's office sited lack of evidence for the closure. (Aviad Glickman)
