Iran will respond with military force to any Israeli or American attack against its nuclear facilities, the senior military advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, adding that the reaction would be "proportionate to the damage."
General Yahya Rahim Safavi, the former commander of the Revolutionary Guards, the elite corps of Iranian forces, however, asserted in an interview with the Fars news agency any such strike on his country is unlikely. (AFP).
