A large brush fire erupted in Jerusalem's Arnona neighborhood on Saturday afternoon.
At least three cars caught fire and 30 houses were evacuated. Jerusalem's Fire Services estimated the fire was a result of arson. Seven firefighting crews worked successfully to contain the flames.

They prevented the blaze from reaching houses in the neighborhood.
Severe damage was caused to gas containers, a diesel oil canister, electric wires and three vehicles.
The fire had spread from a nearby wadi into Arnona's Leib Yaffe street. The firemen had evacuated houses in the area for fear it would spread towards them.
"Damage was caused to the front of the house," said Avner Ben Hemo, whose two cars caught fire. "It was pure luck the fire didn't enter the house. I was sad to see the cars burn but luckily no one was hurt."
