2,000 social protesters march in Tel Aviv

Some 2,000 people are marching from Tel Aviv's Habima Square in protest against the high costs of living in Israel. The protesters are using spoons and ladles to bang on pots and pans, and are calling on residents to join them.
One activist told Ynet that feels as though last summer's demonstrations "were just the first wave. This year the protest is the real thing. We have grown up, and this time we won't give up." The march is expected to conclude in front of the Tel Aviv Museum, where a rally is set to take place. (Boaz Fyler)
