Baka al-Garbiyeh man gets 33 months for kidnapping

The Haifa District Court on Sunday sentenced Ikram Abu Moch of Baka al-Garbiyeh to 33 months in prison and ordered him to pay NIS 100,000 in compensation to an ulpana student he abducted a year ago.

Abu Moch pled guilty to kidnapping and causing bodily harm to the girl, whom he picked up hitchhiking a year ago. She was badly injured when she jumped out of his car to escape. (Ahiya Raved)
