PM's point man on Shalit deal retires from Mossad

David Meidan, the coordinator in the Prime Minister's Office for missing and captive soldiers, had decided to retire from the Mossad and enter the private sector.
Meidan served as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's personal representative during the negotiations fro the release of Gilad Shalit. He worked for the Mossad for 35 years in a number of posts in Israel and abroad. (Attila Somfalvi)
