The Jerusalem District Court has suspended for three months the engineer who worked on the stage built for the Independence Day ceremonies on Mount Herzl. The engineer, Oren Warshavsky, was indicted over a stage accident that killed an IDF officer.
The court ruled that Yitzhak Zuker, who served as the safety adviser for the event, will be allowed to continue working on condition that his recommendations are approved by an engineer employed by the police. (Aviad Glickman)
