PM: Settlement regulation bill could hurt settlers

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the impending removal of five homes built on contested land in Beit El's Ulpana neighborhood, saying that while the government supports the Israeli settlements, it must also preserve to rule of law by honoring the High Court's decisions.

The PM said during a Likud faction meeting that the ratification of a bill that aims to circumvent a high court ruling that calls for the removal of the neighborhood would be detrimental to settler's interests. "We have solutions that will empower the settlements," he said. (Attila Somfalvi)
