Maccabi Haifa hires ex-NBA GM as coach

Maccabi Haifa has signed former NBA general manager Brad Greenberg to be its new basketball coach for the next two seasons.
As general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers, Greenberg drafted Allen Iverson with the No. 1 pick in the 1996 NBA draft. He also had stints as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Clippers and the New York Knicks. (AP)
