Islamist group left out of north Mali rebel gov't
A secular separatist group in north Mali says it will form a provisional government for the region without an Islamist faction it had previously planned to include.
The Islamist group, Ansar Dine, wanted to impose strict Islamic law in the northern territory, where rebels pushed out Mali government troops in March. (AP)
