Aid groups assisting refugees from South Sudan slammed a court ruling that eliminates the collective protection granted to asylum seekers who arrived in Israel from the African country. "We fear for the deportees' welfare and safety, and especially for the welfare of children who are about to be sent to a dangerous place," the groups said in a statement.
The organizations urged the State to abide by its "legal commitments" and review asylum requests on a case-by-case basis. (Omri Efraim)
