Just twenty-four hours after the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court determined that former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's bureau chief Shula Zaken would not be going to prison for her role in the Tax Authority corruption scandal, the IPS parole board decided on Thursday to reduce Ex-Israel Tax Authority official and Zaken's brother, Yoram Karashi's sentence as well.
Karashi who was convicted of bribery, facilitating bribery and two counts of breach of trust, will be released in ten days, after the parole board cut a third of his sentence. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
