Arab League chief: Arab states must break off contact with Assad
Speaking at the UN, Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi said that he called on Arab states to cut all contact with the Assad regime.
He noted: "Though we aren't calling for military action, we are calling for diplomatic, economic and commercial measures, send back Arab diplomatic envoys, and cut off all contact with the Assad regime. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
