Mubarak: Bury me next to my grandson
Former Egyptian ruler tells family members he wishes to be laid to rest next to grandson who died of food poisoning; wife Suzanne Mubarak burst into tears upon hearing request
Egyptian media outlets reported Saturday that ousted president Hosni Mubarak, who is serving a life sentence in Tora Prison, discussed his burial location with family members
Al Ahram newspaper reported that while Mubarak's condition was still critical, he asked his family members to be buried next to his grandson, Muhammad, who died from food poisoning three years ago.

Mubarak was reportedly very close to his grandson, and his death caused the former president a severe mental crisis. According to the report, Mubarak's wife, Suzanne, burst into tears upon hearing his request.
On Wednesday it was reported that Mubarak spent the night connected to an oxygen machine, following a worsening in his condition. However, a prison official said that that Mubarak's health condition has since then stabilized, and that the former ruler's life is not in danger.
The source noted that the prison management needs to decide on whether to transfer Mubarak to a military hospital, as his doctors advised. Egypt's chief prosecutor gave the prison management the power of attorney to decide on the matter.
