Nigeria churches under terrorist attack
None
A gunmen opened fire on a church in northeastern Nigeria, spraying the congregation with bullets and killing and wounding many of them, witnesses said. At the same time, a suicide bomber blew himself up outside a church in the central Nigerian city of Jos on Sunday, witnesses said. There was no immediate word on casualties.
No one claimed responsibility, although attacking churches has become a trademark tactic of Islamist sect Boko Haram which has affiliated itself with al Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). (Reuters)
