Deputy IDF Chief: Syrians will treat us like they treat the rebels

Deputy IDF Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh addressed the ongoing uprising against Syrian President Bashar Assad on Sunday, saying that "the Syrians, who treat their own people this way, will treat us the same way if given the opportunity."

"Syria has the largest chemical weapons arsenal in the world, missiles and rockets that cover the entire state of Israel, and is working with Hizbullah in the North," Naveh continued, added that both Syria and Hizbullah were backed by Iran. (Yoav Zitun)
