Ya'alon on Iran: Bombing preferrable to (atom) bomb

Minister for Strategic Affairs Moshe Ya'alon addressed the Iranian threat during a conference in northern Israel on Tuesday and said: "If the choice is between a bomb and a bombing – bombing it is."
Ya'alon said that the West must first exercise such means as economic sanctions and political isolation and maintain the military option as a last resort. "One way or another we must stop the Iranian nuclear program," he said. "Hopefully not through war and not by us," he added. (Maor Buchnik and Attila Somfalvi)
