In the video, which was distributed by the Palestinians, two hooded protesters are seen throwing stones at soldiers positioned on a nearby hill.
- At some point one of the soldiers is seen hurling a stun grenade which explodes near the Palestinians, but they continue to riot. Later the soldier throws stones at two of the demonstrators, picks up his weapon and fires two shots, apparently as a warning.
Shortly thereafter the soldier and the demonstrators throw stones at one another. The soldier then fires a number of shots at the protesters, but, according to the video, none of them were hit.
The footage shows the demonstrators leaving the area after the soldier opens fire.
