Immigration Authority: 270 migrants detained in crackdown

The Population and Immigration Authority reported that it has arrested 270 migrants as part of its crackdown on illegal immigration. Most of the detainees are South Sudanese nationals.

Meanwhile, 300 others filed requests to be deported of their own will. Human rights groups claimed that the migrants are intimidated by the authority's raids to file the requests. (Omri Efraim)
