Lieberman calls for formation of unified public diplomacy agency

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Israel's public diplomacy efforts must be unified and placed under his ministry's authority. Lieberman's remarks came in response to a state comptroller's report on the public diplomacy failure associated with the 2010 Gaza-bound flotilla.
"The Foreign Ministry is the only one that can deal with the foreign media in situations like these," he said, stressing that the multitude of diplomacy agencies within the government causes disorder. (Attila Somfalvi)
