The UN labor office has rewarded Myanmar's reform efforts by lifting restrictions on the country's participation in the global body's work.
The decision by the International Labor Organization comes hours before a visit by Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi to Geneva. Suu Kyi is to deliver a speech to the ILO's annual assembly on Thursday in recognition of its long-standing campaign against forced labor in Myanmar. (AP)
