Suspected Muslim separatists have killed three soldiers and wounded six others in an attack in southern Thailand.
Police Col. Samneang Luejeangkam says the attackers hurled a grenade into a school in Yala province's Krongpinang district on Saturday while soldiers were taking part in a daily briefing in the schoolyard. Soldiers guard state schools in the area because teachers are often targets of the separatists, who regard them as representatives of the government. (AP)
