Education minister: MKs' comments on gays 'disturbing'

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar leveled harsh criticism at recent statements made by Knesset members Anastassia Michaeli and Uri Ariel against the gay community, calling them "disturbing."
"A verbal attack on people due to their sexual inclination or lifestyle harms human dignity. Public figures must come out against such remarks to preserve Israel as a tolerant and enlightened state," he said. (Tomer Velmer)
