30 servicemen charged with illegal use of documents over past year

Some 30 officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers serving in the IDF were tried over the past year for illegal use of confidential documents, a senior army official said. According to the official, some of the offenders were sentenced to time in prison.

The remarks were made in reference to an indictment of a non-commissioned officer, who is accused of copying thousands of top level secret files from his computer at his base to his private PC. (Yoav Zitun)
