Winograd: I stand by defense of Yishai on Carmel fire

Retired judge Eliyahu Winograd said he stood by comments he made in Eli Yishai's defense ahead of a state comptroller report that is likely to determine that the interior minister bears "special responsibility" for the outcome of the deadly Carmel fire in 2010.
Winograd's comments were included in a video distributed by Yishai's Shas party. "I did not receive any money from Yishai – he paid the office in which I work," he claimed. (Nir Cohen)
