Kissinger: Peres' award would make my parents proud

Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who received the Presidential Award of Distiction from Shimon Peres, said that the honor would have made his parents proud like no other.

Kissinger, who is taking part in the Israeli Presidential Conference in Jerusalem, also addressed Iran's nuclear program in a speech. He called on the UN Security Council's member nations to give diplomacy a chance. (Omri Efraim)
