Treasury: Carmel Fire findings preposterous

The Treasury dismissed Wednesday State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss' findings ruling that Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz should be held accountable for the devastating results of the 2010 Carmel Fire.
The ministry said the report was "extremely preposterous, and threatens Israel's financial stability by making maintaining the (government) budget impossible." (Avital lahav)
