High Court: Explain blocking of Nakba Law addendum

Three judges on the High Court of Justice have issued a conditional order asking the Knesset Presidency to explain why it is refusing to allow an addendum to the Nakba Law that would adversely affect the budget of any educational institution that publicly denounces Nakba Day to be brought before the Knesset.

The High Court justices ruled on the petition filed by MK Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List-Taal) to have the matter brought before a panel of seven High Court justices. (Aviel Magnezi)
