Career soldiers to receive 1.75% raises

The IDF has announced that career soldiers are to receive 1.75% pay raises retroactively starting in January 2012. Moreover, troops who have served continuously between the months of July and November 2010 are also to receive a one-time NIS 2,000 grant in their June paycheck.
Army officials have informed MK Haim Katz, who heads the Knesset's Labor, Welfare and Health Committee, of the change. (Ran Rimon)
